white witch – cursed cyanotype

One night I was making cyanotypes with a friend. First, we needed illustrations on transparent papers to transfer the image using photsensitive liquid and UV light. She sent me an email with her illustration that we couldn’t download. Then, print came out wrong. It printed out corrently afterwards. UV exposure failed. That image didn’t want to exist. All other cyanotypes from that session worked – just not that one. First we considered burning it but we realized it makes an awesome background. I drew a white witch clearing bad vibes on that paper. I love how it looks like surviving a bolt of lightning.
